Congratulations! You now have an incredible wok. To get started:
- Wash the interior gently in warm soapy water with a soft sponge and rinse clean.
- Heat the wok on the stove top (high heat) and eliminate any moisture. Turn off your stove.
- Apply a tablespoon of neutral oil (bran oil is our favorite); using a paper towel or cloth rag rub the oil over the entire interior surface. Use tongs to protect your hands. Wipe away excess oil.
- Your wok is now ready to go! The oil will protect it from rust if you want to store it though we recommend jumping in and cooking something ASAP.
