Tip #1 - What To Do When You Get Your Wok

Congratulations! You now have an incredible wok. To get started:

  1. Wash the interior gently in warm soapy water with a soft sponge and rinse clean.
  2. Heat the wok on the stove top (high heat) and eliminate any moisture. Turn off your stove. 
  3. Apply a tablespoon of neutral oil (bran oil is our favorite); using a paper towel or cloth rag rub the oil over the entire interior surface. Use tongs to protect your hands. Wipe away excess oil.
  4. Your wok is now ready to go! The oil will protect it from rust if you want to store it though we recommend jumping in and cooking something ASAP.
